Look at the figure. Based on the figure, which equation is true? cos x° = tan y° tan x° = sin y° sin x° = cos y° sin x° = tan y°

What's the figure? It would help..

I know that: sin(θ) = Opposite / Hypotenuse cos(θ) = Adjacent / Hypotenuse tan(θ) = Opposite / Adjacent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cos x° = tan y°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my guess was tan x° = sin y°

OpenStudy (anonymous):

explanation ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i use this two: cos(θ) = Adjacent / Hypotenuse tan(θ) = Opposite / Adjacent

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\sin x=\frac{ 5 }{ 10 }\] \[=\frac{1}{2}\] \[\cos y=\frac{10}{20}\] \[=\frac{1}{2}\] Therefore \[\sin x=\cos y\]
