OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It has to be like http://www.teach-nology.com/worksheets/science/cell/2venn.gif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Weather at the top of the circle at the left, facts that they both have the same in the middle, and climate at the right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The sets and elements?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do not know what they are.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ah. Okay, I apologize :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Msumner, also, from this information, I can infer that weather and climate have nothing in common?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, the only thing they have in common is sunshine?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay, well, how can we compare and contrast climate and weather in words?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'll look in my book

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do not know.

OpenStudy (opcode):

Climate: Climate may include precipitation, temperature, humidity, sunshine, wind velocity, phenomena such as fog, frost, and hail storms over a long period of time. Weather: Weather includes sunshine, rain, cloud cover, winds, hail, snow, sleet, freezing rain, flooding, blizzards, ice storms, thunderstorms, steady rains from a cold front or warm front, excessive heat, heat waves and more Source: http://www.diffen.com/difference/Climate_vs_Weather

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I KNOW

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Weather is the condition over a short period of time, such as whether it will be windy/sunny/rainy today. Climate is the condition over a long period of time. Like in some countries they either have droughts all year long or have floods and hurricanes throughout the month. Both climate and weather relate to conditions in a specific locations on Earth.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is that good?

OpenStudy (opcode):

Yeah. It's good. But I would make it look neater like: Climate: Blah Weather: Blah Similarities: Blah

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I got that from http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20081022103634AA4mhPX

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And what do you mean by repetition?

OpenStudy (opcode):

Repetition = Repeat.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, but what is being repeated in my reply?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(Weather is the condition over a short period of time, such as whether it will be windy/sunny/rainy today. Climate is the condition over a long period of time. Like in some countries they either have droughts all year long or have floods and hurricanes throughout the month. Both climate and weather relate to conditions in a specific locations on Earth.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

By the way, sumner, I minimized the chat :D
