Notice that ba = a. Since a is nonzero (it is the divisor), b must be 1. Notice the pattern of dividing a into b c and a remainder of b. b c becomes 10 + c. Subtracting a and obtaining 1 only can be if c is 0 and a is 9. The division problem illustrates a common repeating decimal 1/9 = 0.11111111
