OpenStudy (anonymous):

sociologists predict that, compared to males, females: a)are more likely to be polygamous b)are more likely to be promiscuous c)are more likely to be monogamous d) are more likely to choose a young, attractive mate

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Definitely, "B".

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@abb0t I actually think that men and women can be equally promiscuous. I'm leaning on C. We know about the differences between the sexual-biological roles of men and women. The idea that men's sexual roles revolve around passing on genetic material to offspring, and women's roles are centered on nurturing those offspring. I've been searching for evidence that might back up any one of those options. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ @kaelyb Your question mentions "sociologists." Did you mean to say "sociobiologists"?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thank you! @InYourHead and yes i meant sociobiologists sorry lol

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Nope. I'm sticking to "B". PROOF: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0J3vgcE5i2o

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@kaelyb Okay. I just wanted to ask, because I've come across this question before. ~~~~~~~~ But I can't argue with Nelly Furtado. abb0t's source material is indisputable. He gets a medal.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

abb0t is definitely clueless. women tend to want to be monogamous.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh look, a feminist.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no feminist here. abb0t no I dont settle i am looking for a man with intelligence and very few men have the smarts to keep up with me. Have a good time with being promiscuous and the like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@abb0t Have you been hitting on her? Or otherwise sending messages of sexual receptivity?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no he hasnt but I took it as meaning that I settle for just anything and I dont. I want inteligent conversation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that would be the wrong use of the word

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@msumner Calm yo tits. I understand the concept of "feminism," I swear to you. And I might even agree with you.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all i wanted was conversation I am sorry for wasting your time.

OpenStudy (abb0t):

@sherryJo http://www.christianmingle.com/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@InYourHead we are obviously just messing around you didn't have to include female body parts to make your case

OpenStudy (anonymous):

delete your post or I will say calm your highlights

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Calm my highlights"? Oh no, you wouldn't! Sadly they've come and gone. It's an old picture.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am simply asking a very easy task to be accomplished before this thread gets out of proportion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Duly noted! Whatever you decide to do, you'd best do it now. We wouldn't want to wait TOO long, for this thread to get "out of proportion."

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the question is nonsense in my opinion I doubt they "predict" anything. At best they can observe what is in the population now. We might consider that this observation is the result of biology as well as society influences. But in any case we should keep in mind that this is an inductive reasoning. IMHO these "sociologists" should consider going out of the 50's and be doing experiments.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

BTW there are societies working differently.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Havent gone away. I just decided this conversation was beneath me and was quickly circling the drain. Besides someone who hides behide his hair or doesnt have a picture on his profile doesnt have room to talk about my anatomy

OpenStudy (abb0t):

Typical mortal mentality
