how can a write a decimal as a fraction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

multiply and divide your fraction by its place value. for instance, .1 multiply by 10 and divide by 10. .01 multiply by 100 and divide by 100. .001multiply by 1000 and divide by 1000 so for instance, if you have .045 as a fraction, multiply it by 1000 and divide by 1000 and get 45/1000, which you can simplify
