Please help me graph the equation using the slope and y intercept. y=1/8x+4

This equation is in the slope-intercept form already: y = mx+b where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. the yintercept is a point (0,y) and the slope is literally the change in y divided by the change in x. Here we see that the change in y is 1 and that the change in x is 8. That means you start from your point (0,4). Then move up one value in the y axis, and move horizontally 8. This should be the point (8,5). Two points define a line--connect them.
