If you read 15 minutes per day every day and end up reading 12 books of 200 pages each in one year, what is your reading rate in pages per minute?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you want to find pages per minute over a year then you want to find how many pages you read in a year and divide that by how many minutes you read in a year. Then the number of pages read in a year would be 12*200 (12 books of 200 pages). So 2400 pages. To find the minutes in a year that you would read you would multiply 15*365 (365 days in a year) to get 5475 minutes of reading in a year. The next step is to divide the 2400 pages by 5475 minutes and you have your answer.
