Actually, its D. [They were from different geographic and cultural parts of Spain.] Thing was, Ferdinand was the King of Aragon, and Isabel was the Queen of Castille. Once Spain was unified, they could work to their main goal as king and king, which was to push Muslim control out of Spain. And to this, they did.
