OpenStudy (anonymous):

A major chord in music is composed of notes whose frequencies are in the ratio 4:5:6. If the first note of a chord has a frequency of 268 hertz , find the frequencies of the other two notes.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

If the ratios are 4:5:6, then the second frequency will be 5/4 times the first frequency and the third frequency will be 6/4 times the first frequency (and 6/5 times the second). What do you get for the answers? Here's a hint: the chord will be C E G :-)
