Using the following link, will help you determine what #8 is, because I have no idea: http://www.wsfcs.k12.nc.us/cms/lib/NC01001395/Centricity/Domain/648/_Files/WORLD%20HISTORY/A%20King%20at%20War%20with%20Parliament_England%20Map%20Handout.pdf
@jazy
Use the keys and it will help. On the map, look for the battle-site that says Marston Moor. What year does it have next to it?
Is that what the question meant
It wants you to find out which region was gained by parliament during the Marston Moor battle.
The region with the striped up and down lines...lol...I don't know what region that is.
Could you check my other answers? My Answers: 5. Parliament 6. Ireland 7. Scotland 8. Parliament Gains 1644 9. King Charles I 10. Wales
This battle happened in 1644. Look at the map keys again. Do you see, Parliamentary gains 1644? The area on the map with the vertical black stripes... thats what you're looking for.
#8 was vertical black stripes
I don't know what the name of that area was.
I need to know if my other answers are right??
5. parliament (you got this one correct) 6. Ireland (correct) 7. Scotland (correct) 8. I don't know what area that is...it is the one that has the striped up and down lines. 9. King Charles I (correct) 10. Wales (correct) I agree with you on all of these.
It doesn't really say, is it suppose to be a name
It says what region....so is it the North side of England ???
