how do i enplane this Describe how you would estimate the square root of a number that is not a perfect square without using a calculator.
ok ill help u
You would use two perfect squares around it to help estimate.
lets say you have the square root of 20
@ryan123345, guess you can handle it.
i would go to the next perfect square which would be the square root of 25 which is 5
And the previous one is the sqrt of 16 which is 4.
yea
So which is 20 closer to? 25 or 16?
it doesnt matter :/ its easier to say the square root of 25 is 5 than the square root of 16 is 4
ok so since u know that the square root of 25 would be between 4 and 5 you can take and estimate and i would say 4.5
do you get it?
ooooo ya thank all alot
