yes, that is correct. You can simplify it by dividing top and bottom by the same number. notice both are even so you can divide by 2 notice that when you add up their digits (12 ->3 and 450->9) the sum is divisible by 3 that is a trick to know a number can be divided by 3. so you can divide top and bottom by 2 and by 3 (or 6 = 2*3) divide top and bottom by 6
