Solve the equation below for x. 4x-5y=20

OpenStudy (blurbendy):

you could let y = 0, or solve with y in it.

20 + 5y = 4x solve for x

I'm guessing that essentially you have to solve for both x and y, but they're only looking for x. If you just solved for x though you would get: x = (5 (y+4))/4
