have a few questions in geometry and no this is not for a quiz but it is timed... The section is areas of triangles, parallelograms and trapezoids once I open the questions I have to finish it

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

Really? Your course book might help you! ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Dang never thought of that! to bad I dont have one!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I do cyber school? doesnt come with a book

OpenStudy (shubhamsrg):

MAke google your book.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

what cyber school.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

one through my public school and @shubhamsrg that really doesnt work out to well

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well what exactly do you need help with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

areas of triangles, parallelograms and trapezoids

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats a lot of material, they're all just formulas, you just need to google them. I dont understand what you're looking for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No like yeah its just formulas but apparently i am doing them wrong and thats what i need help with

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well lets start with triangles then. a triangle's formula is (b)(h)(1/2) do you understand that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well I can pull up the questions so that way you can see exactly what im talking about but like I said once i open it i have to finish it so if you think you can help I will

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm working on some of my own stuff so lets not do that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here, try and answer this one. |dw:1360570376617:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats not really what the questions are asking..I really just want to learn from the questions asked....no offense and I know that you put it up to teach it but honestly I have been sitting here for a few hours cause i need help with my question you know? i just keep re-posting this not bumping but totally re-posting it....

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thats because its not a question, you're asking me to explain the whole entire world of finding areas. thats a lot of different situations. I need something more specific that your'e struggling with.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not trying to sound rude trust me not the intention and I appreciate the help with the one you posted but I just want to get mine done cause im frustrated with them and no there as specific question but I cant give it to you without opening it and then I have to do it so if I do and you say oh idk that one and I cant answer it correctly obviously i get it wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if its not a quiz then what does it matter? Its to learn it and understand it. I understand the situation yoou're in, trust me i've been there dozens of times, but i cant help if i don tknow whats wrong. So, you can open your work folder and I can try to help but I'm going to explain it to understand it, not to get it done quickly.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cause it still counts as a grade , thats why it matters and no I literally click a link and it takes you to the question and it gets submitted and so on and so on but I cant just go grab the question and exit and im not in a rush to finish it once its started I just want to start it I dont really care how long it takes in the process of completing it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well then lets go! :) I thought since it was timed it would be a bit of a race

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh no haha sorry I should of explained that better

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay give me one sec to open

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find the area. a.238.5 dm2 b.257.5 dm2 c.157.5 dm2 d.315 dm2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I may be totally wrong but would you add 8.5 to 26.9 then times that by 9?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay well the formula to get the answer is H (sum of bases/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

doe that mean i can or cant do what i posted ^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is what the equation will look like

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh so add them together then divide by 2
