In a certain collision we want to increase the force while keeping the magnitude of impulse the same. What can be done to achieve this objective? A. Decrease the time of impact. B. Increase the time of impact C. Decrease the magnitude of change in momentum. D. Increase the magnitude of change in momentum. E. Decrease the mass of the object.

hartnn (hartnn):

ok, Magnituge of impulse(I) is the product of magnitude force(F) and time(t) I = Ft so, if we increase the force, the product Ft and hence I will increase. to keep, I same, to increase the force, we must decrease the time of impact....

hartnn (hartnn):

Impulse = Momentum Change F • t = mass • Delta v
