I am to measure diagonal line of photograph which is 3 3/4" and then extend it by same measurement 3 more times. Draw new rectangles which have these new diagonal lengths and meassure the widths. How are the widths changing? Original width is 2 1/2". next width is 5", then 8", then 11 1/2", then 14". What kind of pattern should I be seeing? Did I do my mesurements wrong. I am suppose to write an arithmetic seq. with length of first diagonal as first term. Using the terms of the seq as diagonal lengths, find 4 corresponding widths.
