Can someone help me rephrase this question? How does the relationship of incident to reflected ray relate to the reflection of water waves moving perpendicular to a barrier? What exactly is it asking?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What happens to a water wave incident perpendicularly on a barrier given that that the angle of incidence is equal to the angle of reflection?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you :) & Would it be something like.. The waves bounce (for lack of a better word) off each other in opposite directions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes, that's about it.

Thank you so much :) I really appreciate it!
