What is the solution set of |x – 2| > 3?

Hint: x - 2 > 3 or x - 2 < -3

x > 1 or x < –5 ?

Can you show how you got that please?

I plugged in the values greater than 1, and the values less than -5, to try and find number greater than 3.

To figure it out, solve both of the inequalities I provided.

Okay, so 6-2 would give me 4, which is greater than 3. Right?
