Finding functions f & g?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Find functions f and g so that h(x) = (f ∘ g)(x). h(x) = (6x - 14)^8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[f(x)=x^8\] and \[g(x)=6x-14\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

How did you figure it out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well, \[f\circ g \] just says: apply g first and then apply f on it so i take \[6x-14\] and treating it like "x" then apply \[x^8\] on it to get what you needed
