3. What is the factored form of x2 – 7x + 12?
(x – 5)(x – 3)
(x – 6)(x – 1)
(x – 5)(x – 2)
(x – 4)(x – 3)
4. The area of a garden is given by the trinomial g2 – 2g – 24. The garden’s length is g + 4. What is the garden’s width?
g – 2
g – 6
g – 8
g + 2

2. (x+4) (x+2) take factors of 8 and see which add to make 6 so 1 and 8 don't but 2 and 4 do.

3.(x – 4)(x – 3) same as above

4.(g – 6)

The final one is the same, but they've given you one of the brackets so you just need to find 2 numbers, including 6 that multiply to make 24 and and together to make -2
