A bacteriophage injects its DNA into an E. coli cell, which gets integrated into the bacterial chromosome, forming a prophage. What kind of life cycle the bacteriophage is undergoing?

The keyword here is INTEGRATED, which means COMBINED, or JOINED. Whenever the genetic material of a virus is INTEGRATED into the genes of the host, then the virus is going through a LYSOGENIC life cycle. HIV (the virus that causes AIDS) is an example of a LYSOGENIC virus. When HIV gets into our cells, it mixes its genetic material with our DNA.
