Well there are two people, Thom and wade. If you would of said "Neither Thom nor Wade had signed HIS letter of intent. Thats wouldnt make any sense because his is talking abour one person not 2. Now if it was "Thom (or Wade) did not sign HIS signed letter of intent" that would make make more sense cause there only talking about one person. thats why you would use their cause its talking about two or more people.

@Cookie_009 Hm, nope it was "his". I'll ask my instructor, because that doesn't make sense, to me.
