Mathematics 12 Online

Daniel collected 120 sports cards. Sixty-five of the cards are baseball cards. About what percent of the cards are baseball cards? Round to the nearest percent, if necessary.

OpenStudy (deadshot):

to solve this, you have to turn it into a fraction, and then convert it into a decimal, the fraction would be \[\frac{ 65 }{ 120 }\]

OpenStudy (deadshot):

the decimal is \[\frac{ 65 }{ 120 }\approx0.54\] so it would be about 54%
