How would I classify these three polynomials by degree and number of terms? 8a – 5 3x + y + z 6x2

By Degree: --------------- The first two are only to the first degree (power) so they are linear. So these two have 1 degree, so they are Linear: 8a – 5 3x + y + z And the second one is the second degree, so it is a quadratic: 6x2
mono- one bi - two tri- three
By term: ------------ First one has two terms, so it is a binomial Second one has 3 terms, so it is a trinomial and third has 1 term, so it is monomial.
