URGENT,HOW TO FIND SURFACE AREA FOR A CYLINDER AND CONE?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

SA of a cylinder is 2*pi*r^2*h where r is the radius and h is the height SA of a cone is (1/2)*pi*r^2*h where r is the radius and h is the height.

|dw:1360714782780:dw| can someone find the surface are for this cone and simplify how they got it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i meant cyliner

I gave you the equations above. Your radius is 3 and your height is 4. Oh. Shoot. There's a typo in those formulas from earlier. So just plug those values into the surface area formula SA = 2*pi*r^2 + 2*pi*r*h which equals 2*pi*3^2 + 2*pi*3*4

is the answer 131.8 units squared?

thanks
