Geometry!! Determine if the statement is always, sometimes, or never true: An equilateral triangle is an acute triangle. a. always b. sometimes c. never A scalene triangle is a right triangle. a. always b. sometimes c. never

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

1) always

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank you my love (:

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

Oh my gosh welcome*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know 2?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

All equilateral triangles have equal angles (3 of them equal to one another) so x+x+x = 180 ---> 3x = 180 ---> x = 60 so all equilateral triangles have angles of 60 degrees

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

that explains why all equilateral triangles are acute triangles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so then scalene is sometimes?

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

loll i love how he just comes in here randomly explains and leaves xD

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

he always does that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right? haha

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

sry i'm all over the place multitasking and helping someone else out

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

it should be enough to explain why the answer for #1 is that

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

sometimes for 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aahhhh

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

hmmmm 1 sec

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

before u put it let me make sure

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

that's correct, you can easily have these scalene triangles |dw:1360719251083:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright

OpenStudy (ryan123345):

i knew that i just didnt want her to get it wrong :)
