How do Newton's 3 laws apply to an egg drop?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It pretty much applies to everything. In reference to an egg drop, the egg will hit the ground and will exert some force on the ground. As Newton's third law says the ground will exert that same force onto the egg

and thus the egg splatters :D

but also.. you may say. taht egg is dropping cause of force of gravity put by the earth on the egg.. so newton's third law applies there and you can say.. the egg is putting the same force on earth.. and pulling the earth as well.. and its true... ;-) the only reason we don't see the earth going up is cause of its larget MASSSSSSSSS
