I was curious as to why the sum of my medals in individual categories is not equal to my total sum of medals?

I believe it is something to do with the secret and highly classified way that SmarScore is calculated.

Myin and I once did some fooling around with adding/removing medals to answers posted by a test user. In the end we weren't sure if the not adding up is some smart part of SmartScore. Or else a bug.
