Determine how many slices you will cut your pizza into. You need to pick two different numbers of slices. Once you have determined the number of slices, calculate the following for both ways of cutting your pizza: the interior angle and arc length of the slices the area of each slice Please show your work for all calculations. its a 14in pizza and one has 6 slices the other has 10 i really need help on this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i divided 360 by 6 and 10 and got 36 and 60

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there's 360 degrees in a full circle. To get the interior angles, assuming they're equal slices, just divide by the number of slices. The arc length is the portion of the circumference that is cut into each slice. So divide the circumference by the number of pieces to get the arc length of each slice.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, that looks right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay and how do i get the interior angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you already got the interior angles, right? for the 6 slice pizza it's 360/6, for the the 10 piece it's 360/10

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the arc length

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thats makes since for the first half

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you want to find the arc length by using the same concept. Find the total circumference of the pizza by using 2pi * diameter of the pizza, and then divide by the number of slices. Arc length is basically the length of the crust on each slice

thank u sooo much

np good luck
