Calculate the distance in km that Allex can run in 2 hours if she maintains the constant average speed of 8 km/h.

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

\[d = rt\]

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

You can figure this out by looking at the units, as well. You're looking for a distance, and you have numbers which have units of time, and length/time. How can you combine them to end up with just length?

16

Just plug in what was given, the equation d=rt , distance = rate(8km/hr) x time(2 hours), which gives you 16 km.
