If you would like to be able to easily identify other kinds of sap fungus... You can see the structure of a cap fungus in this picture: ( http://www.southtexascollege.edu/nilsson/4_GB_Lecture_figs_f/4_GB_21_Fungi_Fig_f/Mader_SacFungi_1_CupFungus.gif) All cap fungi use that structure, but they can look different than just cups: ( http://eol.org/pages/5578/overview).
