Since two angles of one triangle are congruent to two angles of the other triangle, the triangles are similar. That means that the lengths of their sides are proportional.

Look at the triangle on the right that has a side of 2 corresponding to the side of 12 in left triangle. How many times smaller is 2 than 12? x is smaller than 54 the same number of times.

You can just follow what I did above, or you can set up a proportion which is an equation.
