OpenStudy (buggiethebug):

A bunny and turtle are racing, but the bunny is late getting to the starting line. The turtle accelerates from rest at 2.0m/s^2, and finishes the 15.0m long race at the same time as the bunny that started 2.0 a late. If the bunny's acceleration was twice that of the turtles, what was its velocity when it crossed the starting line? SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME THE ANSWER, I WORKED IT BUT HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE ANSWER IS. :(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7.49 m/sec

OpenStudy (buggiethebug):

how did you get that? :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

find the time that the turtle took to go 15 m. plug that time into v=a*(t-2)
