Given: If P(AnB) / P(B) = P(A|B) then P(AuB) / P(A) or P(AuB) / P(B) = ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

all i remember is \[P(A \cup B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A (INTERSECTION )B)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so, while using the above formula, i got, P(A∪B)=P(A)+P(B)[1−P(A/B)]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

dividing by P(A) P(A∪B)/P(A)=1+[P(B)/P(A)][1−P(A/B)]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

plse tell me is it correct and is this answer
