How to prepare cyclohexylmethanamine from bromocyclohexane? Thinking about using a Grignard reagent, but having a bad feeling it might just go wrong or explode or simply don't exsist (NH2CH2MgBr and let that attack bromid)

Gringard would be the right step. Reacted with Mg in dry ether.

Or you could make a carboxylic acid and then use a reducing agent to form a amine group.
