An aside is a dramatic device in which a character speaks to the audience. is a dramatic device in which a character speaks to the audience. A chorus (or refrain) is a part of a song or poem that repeats itself in a certain way. The thing that an aside and a chorus have in common is that they both address the audience in their own way. An aside is a part of a play where a character speaks to the audience. This is addressing the audience. A chorus repeats it self multiple times in a song of poem. This is addressing the audience. So, your answer would be addressing the audience in it's own way.
