What is the domain of f(x) = log(x - 4) + 3?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x>4 , becus for x<4 function aint defined

OpenStudy (zehanz):

Remember, with any log-function, you can only put positive numbers in. This means in this case: x - 4 > 0, so x > 4. That's your domain...

OpenStudy (zehanz):

The +3 part is only done after the log has been calculated, so that has no influence!
