Anyone explain me how to find out the Jordan Normal form for a matrix, please

OpenStudy (turingtest):

If I am not mistaken, the Jordon Normal only differs from Gauss-Jordin in that you try to get an upper triangular matrix instead of a diagonal one. The process is easy, but takes a while to explain. Since I don't have the time I will give you this link in the meantime. http://tutorial.math.lamar.edu/Classes/Alg/AugmentedMatrix.aspx
