I got the perimeter,, I'm confused about the area..

perimeter = 5 + 3(7) + 2(3) + 2(1) + 2 = 5+21+6+2+2 = 36, right ?

hmmm.. for area, im not sure because there are segement numbers we cant obtain be obvious, i think there are miss sign same length there --"

Hey , do one thing ... break the figure into small rectangles... then use the formula for area of rectangles .... add them to get the total area...

Ya the big square is 5x8 = 40 subtract the rectangle at the bottom 2x7 = -14 then subtract the 3x3 section top right = -9 then that part on the left 2x2= -4 40-27 =
