can any body help with eigen value decomposition
i have found the eigen values and eigen vectors
the formula is given as X=E*D^-0.5*E*x , where x is the sample, E is eigen vector matrix and D is diagonal matrix of eigen values. the problem is that E and D are 2x2 matrices and hence the product is 2x2 but i am supposed to get only samples. please help

i am whitening samples
for which i have to use eigen value decomposition
i am whitening n samples
but according to the formula i get a matrix for every sample
