Can any one tell me what are the number of combinations in which a rubik's cube can be? The reason too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The equation is a bit more complex then you may think.

At least can I have the number of combination?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I read that a Rubik's cube has 4 quintillion (a 1 followed by 18 0's) different possible combinations. That could be different by now though...

Here this is the actual number>> http://www.numberphile.com/videos/rubiks43.html

That's a pretty small number :P. BTW, thanks
