well, you need to figure out what n equals. change into math talk: product of 5 and n means 5*n 2 more than the product of 5 and n would be (5*n) + 2 and this should all equal 60 so 60 = 5n + 2 can you solve for n from here?

yeah , I subtract 2 from both sides. Then from there I should get 58 = 5n ?

yup then n would equal 58/5, obviously

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but if all you needed was an equation, then 60 = 5n + 2 would be one answer
