Job A pays $10.95 per hour, 40 hours per week. Job B pays $18,500 per y. Which job pays better?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know for Job A I have to multiply the hourly wage and the hours per week. But how do I calculate for Job B?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Keep focus on Job A. Since you now have the weekly wage \[10.95*40\] all you have to do is multiply this by the number of weeks in a year and compare the two sums.
