OpenStudy (anonymous):

women immigrants -mexican, irish, chinese specifically anyone not WASP ya easier to ask who did benefit...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. slum dwellers B. middle-class people C. immigrants D. child laborers

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Wich ones is it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not D -- child labor reforms were part of the deal not B -- I am not sure there is much difference between A and C...those are almost the same group of people there were some reforms in terms of clean-up of the slums as part of the progressive movement Immigrants were able to join unions to increase wages and working conditions So coin flip on A and C...sorry It would totally depend on the book you are reading and you could argue for either one of those

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. government worker B. railroad owner C. coal miner D. child laborer
