.06x + .06y = -.3 is equal to -.1x + .7y = -1.5 solve for x and y... and its apparently not -2.5?

OpenStudy (flywalker):

keep x in one side and put all the others to the other! x=(-3-0.6y)/0.6 the put x to the other EQUATION -.1[(-3-0.6y)/0.6]+.7y=-1.5 and solve for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so x=(-.3-.06y)/.06 Yet I still have no idea what y is in order to get x

OpenStudy (flywalker):

this are variables!it's just a equation!if you study engineering u will use it to find something but here it is just a problem!
