Which was a cause of the French Revolution? The French king did not want to support the American Revolution. Napoleon had established an absolute monarchy in France. The common people paid all of the taxes. The French king forced citizens to serve in the military.

think about it. the king DID support the American Revolution. Napoleon was not even know until AFTER the Revolution. so that leaves C and D, and using what you know about King Louis IX ((the king at the time)) you would know that he didn't force anyone to serve in the military so the only answer left IS, as @kelliegirl33 said, C. the common people paid all the taxes. Hope that helps :)
