your wrong...

y+2 > -3(x+1) normally, you would put that into slope-intercept form, and plot the line. But here, all the lines are the same. The difference is which side is colored blue, and whether the line is dotted or solid. the dashed line versus solid line follows this rule: if the relation operator is greater than or equal ≥ or less than or equal ≤ (the important part is EQUAL) use a solid line. otherwise, use a dashed line you have > (no =), so use a DASHED LINE that gets you to 2 choices: B or D which side should we choose? the blue shows where the expression is true. to do this pick a simple point : (0,0) is the simpliest replace x and y with 0 in the expression y+2 > -3(x+1) --> 0+2 > -3(0+1) the left side is 2. the right side is -3*1= -3 we get 2 > -3 is that true ? Yes. so pick the graph that has the blue on the same side as point (0,0)

one way to remember the solid line rule: if you see a solid line under the > or <, use a solid line. in other words, ≥ or ≤ means plot using a solid line
