2( 3 + 4m) -6 = 48 the answer is 6 but I don't know how to get there

add 6 to 48, then divide that by 2. you are then left with (3+4m) = 27. open the brackets and minus 3 from 27, then you get 4m= 24. divide 24 by 4 and you get m=6
