For a) I'm assuming the limit is taken from both the left-hand side and the right-hand side. In other words I'm assuming that the limit is limx->2- (approaching from left-hand side) and limx->2+ (approaching from right-hand side). Therefore the answers should be the first and fourth graphs for a) since both functions approach y=3 from both sides.
