is you have a number outside of an absolute value do you multiply it? Ex. |-7|+3|-4|=? my answer woud be 84 correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no... just treat the absolute value symbol like the parenthesis but whatever is between the absolute sign, make it positive... so: |-7|+3|-4|= 7+3(4) = ???

OpenStudy (anonymous):
